Which magazine state after their Garage reviews that you should seek out a garage - irrespective if they are large or small - that you can trust and stick to them... Nick Smith is that garage. He will always try to find a cheaper option for you, even if it is an Ebay part, will 'have a quick look' if you just roll up and explains what is wrong, and shows you in the workshop. He gives 'you' the option of what to have done rather than do the most expensive option and then try to charge you.I love his Tyre Hotel where he stores my winter / summer tyres. He does air conditioning refills and has a decent coffee machine..On the down side the door alarm is so loud it makes my ears ring :-)--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Post edit; Sept 18Nick has now moved to Crawshawbooth. I don't think he does the tyre hotel any more and it is a good walk for me and the pooch to get to him. One of the advantages is that he is now next door to the MOT place.The coffee machine has gone. :-( but so has THAT doorbell. :-)
