Staff are always helpful and attentive. Never struggled to get an appointment for my children when needed on the day. Always difficult to get advance appointments but thats no different in any other surgery. Would give 5 stars if there was more stability of doctors- a different one every time you go.
Awful practice. Doctors change all the time; the american girl on reception tells you one thing and then when you call again the staff say "I wonder who told you that" Asked for practice manager to call me back - never happened. On at least 3 occasions I have been in position 1 in the queue for over 15 minutes to then be told, "sorry I'm on my own".Went to see a specialist who sent a prescription request to my GP and a month later, it hadn't been actioned so I went without important medication for 3 days.One of the many different doctors, who couldnt have been more than 12, gave me a prescription for my son but as she was handing it over said "i'm giving you this against medical advice" hmmm!Update. So for months and months, Tesco were my nominated pharmacy and were ordering my medication for me. I called in to collect my prescription to be told that Fairmore are no longer allowing this. Tesco were very apologetic but surely it is the GP's responsibility to contact their patients to tell them that they arent going to get their prescription on time?! This is the last straw - I'm done with this awful, awful practice!!!
I left this practice. Terrible in every way. Zero medical help. No one is in the slightest bit interested in the health of patients. They continually forgot to arrange the correct blood tests, forgot to refer me to a specialist surgeon for parathyroid tumours. In the end I had a nervous breakdown after screaming & swearing at the doctor & submitting a formal complaint just to be referred. They have absolutely no interest whatsoever in helping patients. They seem more bothered about me screaming at them rather than it being their fault after 8 years of errors, guesswork & non-existent healthcare. You'd think doctors would realise that human beings can only take so much before they snap. This surgery has caused me to break down so completely I can never trust another health care "professional" ever again. No interest in symptoms, quality of life or helping patients. If you value your health, avoid this place. My cat receives better treatment, care & assistance at the vets. Fairmore will fob you off, lie, make errors & deny professional healthcare until you are left alone, broken & extremely ill.
Truly awful. Never any appointments, was told to wait 4 weeks for an appointment . Staff are unhelpful and unsympathetic. Awful service
Would like to have given it no stars, apparantly trained paramedic Phillip Gladdon sent my mum home after reluctantly checking her over didnt even take her blood pressure although she was taking tablets for the issue. Failed to spot shed had a heart attack a few days prior and he sent her home to have have a major stroke followed by a fatal heart attack. Not fit to practise.
